Bracelet, anklet or necklace, fit to your wrist, ankle or neck. We size it with a little give, so it moves with you and never pulls.

A tiny spark joins the last two links. The weld happens on the chain, a few millimeters off your skin, so nothing touches you. No clasp, nothing to fasten.

What is permanent jewelry?
A fine chain sized to your wrist, ankle or neck and closed with a tiny weld instead of a clasp. Nothing to fasten, nothing to lose, nothing to remember on the way out the door. You put it on once and live in it.
Can I shower, swim and sleep in it?
Yes, that's the whole idea. Shower in it, sleep in it, wear it into the water. Rinse it after a swim or the hot tub, and keep lotion and perfume off the chain. Gold fill and sterling handle everyday wear well, though a fine chain is still a fine chain, so a hard snag can bend or break a link. If that happens, bring it back and we'll fix it.
Does it hurt?
No. The weld happens on the chain itself, a few millimeters off your skin, so nothing touches you. Most people say it's a small flash of light and that's it.
Do you come to us?
That's the whole point. We pack everything up and set up wherever the group already is: a lake house, a hotel suite, a backyard, a venue or a shop floor. We cover Lake Tahoe end to end, from South Lake Tahoe and Stateline to Incline Village and Truckee, plus Reno, Sparks and Carson City. Tell us where you'll be and we'll let you know if we can get there.
Can I take it off?
Yes, whenever you want. Snip it at the jump ring with small scissors and hang onto it. Bring it back and we'll weld it closed again.
How do I take care of it?
Not much to it. Rinse after chlorine or salt water, keep lotion and perfume off the chain, and dry it when you can. Sterling silver can darken over time and a polishing cloth brings it back. Gold fill holds its color through normal wear, though the finish will soften eventually like any jewelry you wear every day.
What are the chains made of?
14k gold fill and sterling silver, in a range of weights from barely there to substantial.
How long does it take?
Only a few minutes each once you've picked a chain. At an event most of the time goes to choosing chains and standing around the table, not the welding. Send us your guest count and we'll give you a window to plan around.
What about airport security and MRIs?
The chains are small and light, so they rarely set anything off, but screening is always the agent's call. For an MRI, most clinics ask you to remove any metal, so plan on snipping it and bringing it back to us.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable, more for peak summer on the lake and wedding weekends. Last minute is always worth asking about.
